Tour to Kiev: Secret Stalin tunnels

Secret Stalin tunnels were built according to order of Joseph Stalin in 1936 in Kiev. The tunnels were called Object#1, and were built under the river Dnepr, that one that separates Kiev for two banks left and right. Object#1 consists of two Stalin tunnels. All tourists ask our guide why Stalin decided to build those tunnels and why the building of them was stopped and what is the result of that building? Some facts cannot be hidden from people, the tunnels were big and it was almost impossible to hide them :) The building of Stalin tunnels was started during the II World War and it wasn't t finished for different reasons...You will ask why is was stopped, why Object # 1 still exist and where it is?
